Bassett Family Practice (BFP) is a federally granted Community Health Center located at 324 TB Stanley Highway in the heart of Bassett, Virginia. BFP is committed to providing comprehensive primary health care services to medically underserved residents of Henry County and the neighboring areas of Patrick and Franklin Counties, regardless of their ability to pay.

Onsite health insurance assistance (FAMIS)
What is FAMIS?
FAMIS stands for Family Access to Medical Insurance Security. FAMIS is Virginia's health insurance program for children and pregnant women who meet certain income guidelines. Bassett Family Practice has an onsite outreach advocate to offer assistance with information and enrollment. Information Needed for Enrollment:
- Child's original birth certificate;
- Child's Social Security card;
- Proof of income for all income earners in the household for the past month.
