The 4 week Healthy Heart series concentrates on giving you the facts related to keeping your heart healthy. Individuals will learn the basics about blood pressure, cholesterol, and sodium and fat intake, which will provide the knowledge and encouragement needed to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Program Information:
Sessions are offered free of charge to residents of Martinsville and Henry and Patrick Counties.
Participants will have the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked weekly by local nurses.
A physician referral is not required for this class although consulting your doctor is strongly advised. For questions or to sign up for the class, please contact our Community Health Educator at 276-403-5030.
