Ingredients:
Orange juice- 1 ½ cups
No-calorie sweetener- 2/3 cups
All-purpose flour- 1 ½ Tbsp
Ground cinnamon- ½ tsp
Margarine- 2 Tbsp
Grated orange peel- 2 tsp
Granny Smith or other crisp dessert apples- 8 small
Serving Size:
1 Apple

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 11x7x2 inch baking dish with vegetable cooking spray. Whisk together orange juice, sweetener, flour, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens slightly.

Remove from heat; whisk in margarine and orange peel. Core apples; peel 1 inch from tops of apples. Place apples in a prepared dish; pour sauce over apples. Bake uncovered, 35 to 40 minutes or until tender, basting at 10 minute intervals. Serve apples with sauce.
